Binge-watching a TV series is everyone’s favorite thing to do nowadays. So, we’ve decided to compile a short list of quirky TV shows you simply have to watch.

Luckily for you, these are readily available on Netflix. Enjoy. Here are the TV shows you have to watch.

Archer

Kicking things off on this list is the hilarious animated series that doesn’t get anywhere near the credit it deserves. Archer is a comedy that tells the story of an international spy named Sterling Archer. It’s almost like a cartoon James Bond, if James Bond made you laugh and had loads of inappropriate jokes (and also sucked at his job). If you asked your friends if they’ve heard of Archer, I doubt many of them will raise their hand. It’s a very unique animated comedy, and I think it’s far more clever than shows like Family Guy or The Simpsons. The artistry is also magnificent and a joy to behold. It’s animated similarly to a comic book with lots of details here and there.

Star Trek

If you haven’t heard of Star Trek, you probably don’t have ears. Everyone’s heard of it, but not everyone has watched it. Kids these days are probably more familiar with the recent movies, starring that guy with the piercing blue eyes … but we can never remember his name. For those who don’t know, it was also a very successful TV series. It ran for a long period of time, and there were old movies in between the normal series, too. In fact, there’s so much to watch I’d recommend checking out this Star Trek Episodes’ timeline so you watch them in the correct order. The reason Star Trek made this list is because it’s an iconic TV series that changed the sci-fi genre. Plus, it was very prominent at the time and is considered something of a cult classic.

Firefly

Speaking of quirky cult classics, they don’t get much better than Firefly. Once again, this is a sci-fi series that was a bit geeky, but cool at the same time. It was never universally popular, but those that watched it, loved it. A quick look on IMDB shows that it has a 9.1/10 rating, and we all know IMDB scores are TV law. It was incredibly unique at the time, but sadly, it only lasted a couple of seasons. This is both good and bad. It’s good because it won’t take you long to binge watch them all, but, it’s bad because it won’t take you long to binge watch them all. You’ll zoom through them fast so it won’t take up too much of your precious time, but then it will all be over far too quickly … it’s quite the dilemma.

It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia

We’ve decided to round this off with another favorite comedy classic. In doing so, we’ve accidentally created a weird comedy/sci-fi sandwich. It’s Always Sunny follows a group of god-awful friends around as they embark on various schemes and cons. When I say god awful, I mean god awful. This is what makes the show unique because the main characters aren’t nice people. Yet, you can’t help but love them. This show is probably the funniest thing on TV, and we mean that. It’s unlike any other comedy show out there, which is why you need to give it a watch.
