Dear MLB, never try to compete with a strong, cult-followed, behemoth of a show like “The Walking Dead”.¬† You will invariably lose. The season finale of AMC’s “The Walking Dead” aired this past Sunday night, the same night MLB aired its “Opening Night” game with the Padres taking on the Dodgers. Nielsen estimates¬† “The Walking Dead” finale walked away with 15.7 million viewers. In comparison, the opening night baseball game drew just under 2 million viewers. Gross: Former Steelers Player Hines Ward Zombified for Walking Dead

As someone who hates zombies and the Steelers, this picture that surfaced of Hines Ward zombiefied for an episode of The Walking Dead is just plain gross. Ward will play an extra on AMC’s hit show The Walking Dead when it returns on February 10th and told the Pittsburgh Gazette: “It was an amazing experience. Just being in makeup preparing me for my role was cool. I actually scared myself when I looked in the mirror for the first time after.
