Either way, the Masters Tournament kicks off this Thursday, making it the perfect time for a crash course on the tournament essentials.

Who: 90 – 100 professional and amateur golfers

What: The first major championship of the year for the Professional Golf Association (PGA)

Where: Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia

When: first full week of April; lasts 4 days (assuming no weather delays)
