Most people know one of the worst things in the world is to get home from the store to realize you didn’t buy the “already cold” beer. Now you have to waste your time throwing beers in the freezer and hoping not to forget about any that would end up exploding in your freezer.

But to combat this terrible tragedy of hot beer, tech company LG has created a new refrigerator that includes a “Blast Chiller” that can cool a can of beer in a little as 5 minutes.

PopSci explains how it works while seeing it at CES:

“Siphoning cold air up from the freezer while gently rocking two beer cans or a bottle of wine, it'll blast chill a room temperature beverage down to 42 degrees Fahrenheit. A single can cools to refreshing temperatures in 5 minutes; two cans or a bottle of wine, eight minutes. The contoured cradle will secure anything cylindrical and the LG man on hand said he'd never had a can blow up in his face—it's in the swirl, not the shake, he says”
