Plenty of female sports fans have gotten a t-shirt of their favorite team at some point in their life. But whether it’s by gift or by lack of options, the shirt is usually ill-fitting and ends up being something you wear around the house that you can never show off.

Enter Material Clothing, a Texas based company who’s female owner will take your over-sized shirt and turn it into a custom fitted tank or dress for dirt cheap.

While there are some collegiate clothing lines that have come out which sport some super cute dresses, the problem is all the dresses are at least $100 and due to licensing restrictions, they are limited to team colors only.

Which makes the fact that Material Clothing can create something custom for you using already bought licensed clothes so fabulous. The turnaround time is about 2 weeks and prices start out as low as $25.

If you are one of those girl's who doesn't have a creative bone in your body and would never attempt to make your own sports clothes, I highly suggest you send your stuff off to her and have some great outfits made that will be cheaper than anywhere else.

Picture this: your in the little boys section of Target trying to find a decent shirt to wear to the game tomorrow. You are already annoyed because everything in the girls section is nothing but a screen printed potato sack. Sound familiar? If your a sports fan that just happens to be female with curves you understand the frustration of finding cute clothes and accessories that are sports related. Lucky for all of us the internet has given us some hidden gems that make anywhere from casual to die hard fan still look good. The following are my top 5 favorite sites for woman's sports merchandise

5. Procharms-This site has these great bracelets and earrings. The bracelets can be a silver-almost watch looking-bracelet that has the team logo of your choice or for a more casual look they have the leather cuffs with a team logo on it. The earrings are great as well with the team logo either dangling from your ear or centered in a circle. In addition there are crystal dog tags and zippo lighters with your team of choice. The site itself has some linking problems with some of the pages that carry other misc merchandise but their main focus is on licensed sports jewelry where I found hardly any problems. My favorite item on the site was the leather cuff bracelet.

Many female football fans are used to hacking up their shirts to create new outfits to support their favorite team, but jewelry and hair accessories are something that are bit of challenge to create on a whim.

Which is exactly why we like to embrace those ladies who are out there creating some fantastic pieces for us to buy, without breaking the bank.

Kyzandrha Zarate, of Jacksonville Florida, is a skilled graphic designer/videographer by day, but spends her nights working with her mom on gorgeous line of Jaguars inspired jewelry and hair accessories.

Even if you’re not a Jags fan, its great to see women out there seeing a need in a sport as big as football and creating something that isn’t covered in pink but rather a teams colors.

For sporting events, its tough for females to find t-shirts that are actually cute and cost effective.

But thanks to this video on YouTube, it shows how to turn a plain t-shirt into a cute razorback tank with no sewing involved.

I tried this out on a whim Saturday night before the NFL festivities and I have to say, its as easy as it looks and a ton of girls stopped me to ask how it’s done.

For about a year now, I have been collecting random teal clothes and throwing old Jaguar shirts into a box with plans to hack them all up and create some new clothes for the season. The box sat for a year, untouched.

That was until my long-time friend and Jags season ticket holder,Margaret, decided to hold a “Jags Clothes Making Party”.

I knew a few of us were extremely excited to participate but when I showed up with my box of goodies, I had no idea that almost twenty girls would be there with clothes in hand to make.

Inside the house were 6 areas that had tables filled with jaguar material, iron on letters, earring making kits, glue, irons, glitter, teal shirt paint, patches and rhinestones galore.

Every girl brought at least one thing to make which goes to show how sorely more cute women’s sports clothes are needed that are actually affordable. (looking at you Victoria Secrets)

The party was a huge hit, everyone walked away with a bunch of new outfits and I learned a valuable lesson in not spelling out a shirt after you’ve had a few glasses of wine.

What is the first thing you think about when you look at the picture of Jessica Simpson in a pink Tony Romo jersey?

jessica simpson pink jersey cowboys romoIf your anything like me, you automatically assume that this girl hasn't the first clue about football or general sports for that matter.

For the past several years, the NFL and other sports leagues alike have been trying to expand their market share into the female realm of fashion.

In doing so, most of the leagues have assumed if you slap pink on sports merchandise, the female fan base will flock to it.

But are the true female sports fans actually buying into this?

As a female sports fan, before a word is spoken you are automatically determined as inferior of sports knowledge simply because of your gender. You constantly have to prove your "fan hood knowledge" to the males and even die hard female sports fans every time you step into a stadium, walk into a sports bar or join a tailgating cookout.

So if your a female and automatically have the  your  fanhood cards stacked against you before you utter a word, the question is....

Is it ever ok to wear pink to a sporting event?

Its no secret that finding cute sports clothes is a task that proves both difficult and time consuming. I have grown tired with the endless search of finding cute, but comfy sports clothes that I can wear to games.

But I have a solution that involves about $15 in supplies that fills every need of a female sports fan.

Yes, that even includes Jaguar fans.

Victoria Secrets made quite the splash last fall when they started making cute sports clothes for women involving college, MLB and NFL teams. Problem with the NFL teams is that they only made clothes for the top 13 markets.

So naturally, teams like the Jaguars did not make the cut. But that has all changed when yesterday the full line was put on display via the Victoria Secrets Facebook page.

The main styles include a shiny jersey, a “I [heart] football”, “tailgate with me”, shorts and pants for every single NFL team and it will launch in stores on August 10th.

While I’m not really a fan of the shiny jersey, the t-shirts and pants are right up my alley. Especially digging the "Tailgate with Me" shirt. The only downfall to this line that I see is that if you dare to wear this on Sunday, be prepared to see numerous other girls wearing the same thing as you.

The 2010 Kentucky Derby has come and gone with a horse by the name of Super Saver coming up with the win on a very muddy track. The rider of Super Savor Calvin Borel was the equivalent of the New England Patriots by winning the last 3 out of the last 4 Derby's. Yawn. But we all know the most enjoyable part of the Derby are the drinks, dresses and of course, hats.

Even though the weather wasn't the most pleasant for an outdoor event, nothing could ever stop the hats and fashion. And that shouldn't surprise you because the women actually outranked the men by as much as 2% in overall viewership. In addition, the overall viewership of the Kentucky Derby increased by 18%.

With all those women watching, there are bound to be some parties for those who cannot attend the Derby live. But what if you have no clue what kind of hat to wear? Not to worry, we have a line up of some of what the 2010 Derby had to offfer.

Fan clothing shots, Tebow garbage and even a Hawaiian style theme

Clothing choices at a football game can either be a causal t-shirt or jersey but some fans like to kick it up a notch and take their clothing choices for their team to a whole new level. After every home game, we like to feature these choices, hot or not, in our fan hood section.

Many fans bought special $5 Jaguar shirts for the "Teal Day" theme. Since the NFL still doesn't know how to make cute girl shirts, other girls including myself had to take a more creative route.

Make sure to hit the title/read more to see the rest of the awesome Game Day attire that includes Tebow themed attire...
