Heeeeeee’s Baaaaack!

With the Xbox One and PS4 just a few months away, it’s easy to forget that there are still some big games coming out on the current generation of consoles. One of those dropped this week and should help hold you over until the next-gen stuff arrives.

Sam Fisher is back in Splinter Cell: Blacklist, and he’s better than ever, although Michael Ironside was surprisingly replaced as the voice of the legendary operative.

Blacklist is set after the events of Splinter Cell: Conviction and has Fisher in charge of the newly-formed Fourth Echelon as his team and he work to stop terrorists hell-bent on attacking the United States. The game is flexible and allows players to choose between the traditional stealth gameplay the franchise is known for or the more aggressive, shooter-style approach that Conviction took.

Along with an extensive co-op campaign, Blacklist also brings back the popular Spies vs. Mercs multiplayer setup while adding some intriguing twists to the format, such as mixed teams of spies and mercs battling it out.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist is available on the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, and PC.
