Microsoft's new motion controller is a camera, that uses object, movement, and voice recognition to deliver a new kind of gaming experience. Its basically a plug in to the Xbox that is a camera/sensor that recognizes faces, body movements, objects, and even voices in order to integrate the player into the gaming environment. Remember the movie Minority Report? If you do, you know exactly what scene I'm talking about when Tom Cruise puts on the gloves and starts moving the pictures all around, zooming in and out. Except the Natal won't need any stinking gloves.
Its not clear how many game developers have games for the technology just yet but judging by the success of the Wii, they are probably already waiting in Microsoft's line to develop games for it. Project Natal is rumored to be released in 2010 and come with a price tag of around $200.
