2011 ncaa march madness easy bracket picksMarch Madness is something that millions of fans look forward to every year. But truthfully, I could give two-craps about college basketball until it reaches this time of year.

Not caring and being incredibly busy doesn't allow anyone to really go in depth with basketball picks. But not having enough time to cram a whole season's worth of stats in 4 days shouldn't scare you away from actually partaking in some March Madness action.

You could always sift through the thousands of stats available to make your picks but most of us are rather short on time. Good thing for all of us is that this is 2011 and the internet can truly make March Madness picks quick and easy!

CBS SportsLine Extremely Helpful Auto Picks

You might think of "auto-picks" as a general website tool, but CBS really goes above and beyond. They provide a service that ESPN charges for on their site!

Every year, I have used CBS for March Madness and usually enter my own, well-researched picks. But this year I am trying out the Auto Pick selections. Mostly because I actually want to have a shot at winning instead of being mathematically out of it after the first round. That and I really don't feel like cramming basketball knowledge in my head.

But lucky enough for myself and others that are just as busy, CBS has multiple ways you can perform your auto picks:

Quick Picks:

User Favorites - Based on our user's percentage of picks. This is a case of falling in line with 'the masses'

Top Seeds - All top seeds will advance, all the time.

Historical Random - Formula uses historical matchup outcomes to determine the probability of picking each game's winner.

Expert Picks:

Gregg Doyel - CBSSports.com national columnist

Yahoo Sports Tries to Help, but Also Rewards Busted Up Brackets (I know mine always are!)

Yahoo Sports is the only fantasy site I use and I have never tried creating a bracket on their site until this year. But they also feature some helpful services that make auto picks for you based on Top Seeds, Popular Picks and Complete Random.

Like to take chances with your picks? Yahoo features groups where risky picks are rewarded with bonus points.

But perhaps after a week of play, it looks like you took too many risks. They have a solution and its probably the best feature about Yahoo...

If your brackets start turning into a bunch of X's rather than check-marks, Yahoo allows you to "redeem your busted bracket" and enter it in for the best picks but the trick is you cannot enter it until at least March 18th.

Making picks for March Madness isn't scientific,
its mostly luck and unless you are a paid columnist or sports caster, it shouldn't take you hours to fill out your bracket.

Hopefully these couple sites you with being able to participate in March Madness this year and perhaps win a little money even if you are busy with regular life chores!
