Superbowl Sunday is only weeks away but that's not stopping the king of the commercial, Budweiser in giving football fans a taste of what's to come.
During the NFC and AFC championship games, the world famous Clydesdale horses along side actor Peter Stormare a thirsty trigger happy guy in a Wild West setting.
In the press release sent out earlier today, reps from the company explained the idea behind the the 2011 Super Bowl ads:
"The [pictures below] are stills from the 15-second teaser spot “Outlaw” that will debut on Sunday, January 23, during the NFC and AFC Championship games. The teasers set the stage for Budweiser’s 60-second ad “Wild West” which will debut on Sunday, February 6, during FOX’s broadcast of Super Bowl XLV."
Any regular Super Bowl viewer knows that Budweiser always pulls out all the stops for their commercials. But based off the screens, it looks like these particular ads will take on a more serious approach. Or they could be just creative screens made to seem more serious. Guess you just have to tune in during the championship games to get good hint.
