Need a costume that won't require a lot of work or money? We got you covered!

Halloween is not the only time costume parties are held. But if your like me, you spend months planning for the holiday with a costume that is worthy enough to be worn year round.

The past couple years, my own Mario and Tombraider costumes turned out to be huge hits but the only problem with these costumes is that they take a while to create.

But many people are not as obessessed as I am with making good video game costumes and therefore the thought of picking out a costume is very daunting.

Xbox

Items Needed

Box

Black outfit

Xbox "Green" Paint

Paint an X on the box, cut holes for your arms and head and BAM you have a costume. Dont want to be an Xbox? Check out this site and see the other ideas for costumes just like this one, only the Nintendo versions.

Another option: Add a red circle around the center of the X and you can be the famous "Red Ring of Death" for the Xbox. Good move if you prefer Playstation over Xbox.

 

Hulk Hogan

Items  Needed

Bandana

White Wig

White mustache

Shirt w/ Sleeves cut off

 

 

 

Greek God/Goddess

Items Needed

White Sheet (wrap around you and cut to customize your body shape)

Fake Green Leaves (as a crown or in your hair)

Rope (tie around the waste)

Gladiator Sandals

Additional option: you can always purchase a sword and shield from a party store and add in the "Greek Warrior" effect.

 

 

Lego Person

Items Needed

Big Box to fit around your body (cut a hole for your head and arms)

Tiny Boxes or square shaped foam (glue onto big box to represent the the lego grooves)

Spray Paint

Loofah

Items Needed

Sheer Material from Craft Store (this stuff usually sells for a $1/yard

Tights & Shirt to wear underneath

Rope (to represent the rope on the the loofa)

 

 

 

 

 

Referee

Items Needed

Black & White Striped Shirt

Black Pants

Yellow Flag (get a piece of yellow fabric, fill with sand, tie with a rubber band and you can call penalties all night!

Whistle

Another Option (grab big black sunglasses and a walking stick and you can be a blind ref!)

 

 

 

White Trash Lady

Items Needed

White Hanes Tanktop

Black Bra

Sweat Pant

Flip Flops w/ socks

Beer Cans

Pack of Ciggs

Optional: Stuff your belly with shirts to make you look pregnant or have baby doll that  you carry around with a beer and pack of ciggs. Another item to note is the crazy makeup!
