Yesterday, I posed a question via Facebook and Twitter and asked specifically the ladies out there "what Disney classic song is your all time favorite?".  Think you can guess the type of responses I got?

Only 3 females responded while 14 males responded with their choice. Keep in mind, I said "ladies" in my request.

A fellow male blogger, who shall go unnamed, was cited by campus police for sitting outside the dorms with friend at 4am waiting for pizza delivery singing "A Whole New World".

Weeks ago, myself and a friend were attending a 1st birthday party for a friend's daughter. The birthday girl was able to wear a tutu, cover herself in cake and dance along to Disney Princess songs. This got us to wondering why on earth does this stop at age 1? This should be acceptable at any age.

Most of the general population that is of legal drinking age can remember the old hand drawn Disney movie classics that brought us characters like Aladdin, Simba, Sebastin and Cinderella. Its these kind of events that make you realize how much Disney classics have had an affect on us even when we are older.

Hell, I should have known years ago when I accepted a dream job working at Disney World and one of the first things I did was go to iTunes and buy every single Disney classic song I could think of and put it on my iPod for "research purposes".

Disney classics have had an affect on most of the American population, make or female; but what sets these movies apart that almost every single one of them is enjoyed by so many?

Perhaps its that these movies took YEARS to make due to every single fiber that moved in a movie, had to drawn out by hand with out the use of CGI. With the time it took to hand draw the classics, special attenetion was paid to every detail with a major focus being the music.

This post was originally going to be a short "Top Ten" list but quickly turned into 15 and then I had trouble cutting it down to 20. Which is why this shall be a "Top 22 Disney Classic Songs".
